Hello,
The City of Sebastian, Florida will be Celebrating her 100`h birthday during the year 2024. We are planning and dreaming
of special events for the residents.
Do your Clydesdale horses ever come to parades in Florida? We are thinking about a 4`" of July Parade and a Birthday
Parade on December 8, 2024.
If your horses do participate in parades, how much would that be?
Thank you very much for your attention and assistance,
Jeanette Williams

Importance: High
We are planning our Cities Centennial Celebration and are interested in having the World Famous Budweiser
Clydesdales make an appearance possibly July 2024 (this would depend on Budweiser's schedule). The reason I am
writing is we are trying to budget for this expense and we need an estimated cost. Is there any way you could help with
obtaining this information or refer me to someone that can?
I want to thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Does the Vero Beach Pipes and Drum band march in parades? If so, how much would that be? I am not sure
what is possible but I think it would be thrilling to have the band play.
Thank you for your attention and assistance.

RE: Sebastian's Centennial Celebration
Dear Mrs. McDonald and Board of Directors:
The City Council of the City of Sebastian would love for the Sebastian Area Historical Society to
participate in the City's centennial celebration. A task force of City employees has been
established to begin planning. The celebration would start in January 2024 and end on
incorporation day, December 8, 2024. We believe a dozen months are needed to capture [lie flavor
of Sebastian's proud history featuring its many local landmarks and stakeholders.
Some of the ideas are taped interviews with historians such as the ones that you did at the North
County Library before the pandemic to play on the City's Government Channel 25. Or perhaps
the Society might provide I'acebook or website posts of historical items with pictures and a little
narrative of the item.
Another idea would be costumed reenactments of the council meeting day that it was decided to
incorporate. Or having costumed actors hobnob with the crowd at one of the festivals. Any input
or ideas would be welcomed and appreciated.
Respectfully,
Chair, Centennial Task Force
