ADP and Email Instructions Registration
ADP Pavroll Svstem To register on ADP proceed as follows: • Click on ADP Icon or go to ADP Website: htti3s://workforcenow.ado.com • "Welcome to ADP" should appear. • Click on "Register Here" • "Create your Account" should appear. • Registration code: "COS1225-32958" ■ Question "Do you want to set up an account with City of Sebastian?" Answer: "Yes" ■ Identify Yourself o Complete your "First Name" and "Last Name" o Enter your "SS Number" and "Birthdate" o Click on "I'm not a robot" ■ Answer the questions using the photos provided ■ Complete how to contact you — use City Email; phone (United States) ■ Next Screen Identity Questions- click on "I want to answer identity questions" o You will be asked questions that only you know the answer. ■ Answer questions regarding "Contact" o Primary and Secondary — Business; Personal ■ You will now need to use your "User ID" and Create a Password o User ID is the first initial of your first name and all of your last name @cos1225. o Example: MSebastian@cos1225 o Password: Must contain 1 number, 1 lowercase, 1 upper case letter, and be at least 8 characters long. ■ Please remember to write your password down. • Select 3 Questions that you will have to provide answers. ■ Click on "Accept Terms" 0 Register How to Register for your Email Turn on the Computer. Screen: CTRL + ALT +DELETE (Click all the keys at same time) Click on "OK" SEBASTIAN\_A name might appear here Click on "Switch User" Click on "Other User" User name: (example: sam jones = "sjones") Type your first initial and last name Password: (Temporary Password): City1225 (Will need to create your own password) You will be asked to change your password. Password must be at least S characters long and contain 3 of the following 4 categories: UPPERCASE lower case Numbers (i.e., 1,2,3...) Symbols (i.e., #$%) NOTE: Due to sharing of the computers, you must click on "Switch User" to switch to your account. Then sign in using your User Name and Password. I 4 If you worked in a department other than your home department, click in the Department field and then click Ci (search) and select the department in which you worked. 5 Click Save Essential Time & Attendance Employee Basics: For Time -Based Employees Entering Your Nonworked Time Depending on your company's features, you can use different methods to enter nonworked time such as vacation, sick, or personal time. Use one of the procedures in this job aid depending on the options that are available to you. Time Off If the Myself menu includes the Time Off submenu, follow these steps to request time off. Starting Point: Myself > Time Off > Request Time Off 1 On the calendar, click the days to include in the request. 2 Click Request Time Off. 3 Select the reason for the request The same time -off policy In the Policy field, select the appropriate fime-off policy Different time -off policies 1. Click Edit Each Day Individually 2. In each day of the request, in the Policy field. select the appropriate time -off policy 4 In the Amount and Start Time fields, change the values, as needed. 5 In the Comments field, enter any notes about the request that you want to provide to the reviewer. Note: All notes that you enter will be visible to the reviewer. 6 In the Please Respond By field, enter a desired response date, if applicable. 7 Click Submit. Results: • A time -off request is sent to the designated reviewer. • If the request dates are within the current or next pay period, a pending time -off request will be displayed on your timecard • You will receive notifications in the Message Center when the request is approved or denied Ti -le & Attendance If the Myself menu does not include the Time Off submenu, follow these steps to enter nonworked time. Starting Point: Myself > Time & Attendance > My Timecard 1 In the Pay Date Range fields, select the time period for which you want to enter time and click Find. Result: Your timecard for the selected time period is displayed 2 In the In field for the appropriate day, enter the time wnen you will begin taK:ng nonworked time 3 In the Hours field for the appropriate day enter your total ronworked hours 4 In the Pay Code field dick Q isearchr and select the approprata pay code for the nonworked time 5 Click Save. One month at a time 1. Select Myself > Time & Attendance > Monthly Schedule. 2. To view a different month, in the Date field, click It (calendar) and select a date. 3. Click Find.
