A. Art
Mark Gingras spoke with his contact about designing the centennial logo and they
are very busy and would not be able to provide a design without being paid.
Patti Williams said she would contact Brittney, who lives in Sebastian, to see if she
would be interested in designing the logo
B. Historical
Sally Maio spoke with Kathy McDonald who works at the museum and she is willing to
help anyway she can. Ms. Maio thought it would be interesting to find information about
the families that came here before 1924 and why they came. She would like to
document in 20 year increments, what people remember.
Ms. Maio wants to put historical memories on the centennial website about the fishing
industry, the Hardee oak tree, 2004 hurricanes, Pelican Island, our city buildings and the
General Development Corporation.
Beth Mitchell thought it would be interesting to do a story line on Facebook. It would be
a 52 week project starting with 1924 and ending with the present day. Each week a new
fact would be posted about the city.

Mark Gingras offered to help Michelle Morris and Patti Williams with the marketing.
