Fiscal Year 2021 CRA Annual Report in Accordance with F.S.163.371 - Accept and Forward to Citv Council (Transmittal. Report) The City Manager said this was the annual report required by Florida Statute and asked the board to accept it and advance it to City Council. MOTION by Mr. Dodd and SECOND by Vice Chairman Jones to accept the 2021 CRA Annual Report and forward it to City Council. Approval of Minutes — April 13, 2022 Regular City Council Meeting MN SE� HOME OF PELICAN ISLAND COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AGENDA TRANSMITTAL Council Meetinq Date: July 27, 2022 Aoenda Item Title: Fagade, Sign & Landscaping (FSL) Grant Recommendation: Staff recommends awarding, 50% of the costs, up to $15,000, for exterior fagade improvements, including landscaping. Background: In accordance with the Fagade, Sign, and Landscaping Grant Program, eligible signage and landscaping improvements may be considered for 50% of the costs, up to $7,500. Eligible exterior fagade improvements (including signage and/or landscaping) may also be considered for 50% of the costs, up to $15,000. If approved, based on the applicant's invoices the job cost will be $19,985.05 the maximum grant that can be awarded is $9,992.53. Ms. Robin Raiff of Robin Raiff Team at Douglas Elliman Real Estate, who is a tenant located at 1101 U.S. Highway 1, has applied for grant monies to 1) remove a dilapidated pergola which is causing damage to the building; 2) removal of blighted stairs to be replaced with hardscape pavers; 3) repair/repaint the exterior building fagade including the porch and stair rails; and 4) additional landscaping to be added around the front of the building. These improvements would bring the site closer to compliance with the intent of the Riverfront Overlay District and improve the overall appearance of the property.
