The Mayor of the City of Sebastian, Indian River County, Florida,
has ~alled a Special Meeting of the City Council on Wednesday,
July 31, 1991, at 5:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, City
Hall, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian, Florida.
The purpose of the Special Meeting is to review Police Station
proposals.

4. Respecify generator - down size

6. Eliminate interior non-secure masonry walls' and footings and
change masonry bearing to steel.

Downgrade security framing to 14 or 16 gauge.
Downgrade shelving millwork to painted wood.

21. Eliminate Cross Street improvements.
22. Respecify (alarm, communicatons, etc.)
23. Eliminate sidewalk south of patrol parking.
24. Eliminate all-fencing and gate.
25. Eliminate security cameras 2, 3, 5, 7 and .8.
26. Change tegular 2 x 2 ceiling tiles to standard 2 x 4 .except
in lobby and corridors.
27. Downgrade exterior glazing to standard tint.
28. Eliminate plaster ceilings.
a. Evidence to lay-in.
b. Restrooms, vestibules and detention to drywall.
29. Eliminate entry screen walls.
30. Eliminate projection screen.
31. Eliminate tack boards.
32. Downgrade specification requirements on pay requests,
substitution submittals and materials.
33. Eliminate front door intercom, electric lock, position
switch.
Eliminate rear door intercom.
Reduce photo allowance to $500.
Eliminate restroom vanity aprons.
Reduce various miscellaneous structural steel items could
provide substantial decrease, angles, curbs, etc.
38. Change HID lobby fixtures to incondescent.
39. Use full length steel colums in lieu of concrete with stye2
stub columns.
40. Omit 5/8" foil back drywall, use regular 5/8" drywall.
41. Exterior framing in red iron in lieu of 18 gauge metal "C"
channels.
42. Reduce carpet allowance.
43. Fire stopping to be by mechanical/electrical trades in lieu
of independent subcontractor.
44. Respecify hollow metal doors and frames.
45. Revise lobby talk throughs.
46. Respecify overhead rolling grilles.'
47. Delete two entry grates at entry doors.
48. Delete epoxy floor extra material.
49. Change specification on pay phone enclosure - fabricate
locally.
50. Respecify transaction drawers.
51. DX split system in lieu of chiller system.
52. Delete special Armory HVAC system (Building system supplY
with exhaust fan).
53. Reduce air quality monitoring (five spaces only).
54. Supply hot water to bath/showers and room 148 only.
