presentation to show the residents the kind of things the Task Force is looking for.
B. Marketing & Promotion
Ms. Williams asked what the committee thought of the idea of having an article in the Sebastian

treasure ships are an important part of our history and would be an interesting article for the
magazine.
C. Art
The coloring book pictures will be presented at the next meeting. Ms. Testa suggested each
participant choose one of the pictures in the book and write a phrase explaining its historical

Brian said he is working with the Sheriff's office to get formal pricing on the coloring book,
brochure and sponsorship packet.
D. Historical
Ms. Williams reported that MIS was unable to record the Sebastian PD's presentation "Early
Policing in Sebastian" at the North County Library last week. Brian suggested asking Captain
Wood to do the presentation in the Council Chamber so it can be recorded and used during the
centennial celebration.
The North County Library will be sponsoring a presentation by Doc Fischer on the early
development in Sebastian. The Task Force would like MIS to record that presentation to also be
used during the celebration.
E. Parades & Special Events
Mr. Gingras confirmed the clambake festival will be held November 8 — 101h in 2024.
F. Sponsorships
Ms. Ware suggested since there are no events planned for August or September that the Art Club
sponsor an event in September showing paintings by Sebastian Artist of the older buildings in
Sebastian and call the event "Artist Renditions of 100 years in Sebastian"
Ms. Williams from the Sebastian River Chamber of Commerce asked to have the Chamber of
Commerce Grill Night Out be the August event and the committee agreed.
Ms. Irwin recommended a link be added to the sponsorship packet for people to have the ability
to share to the packet.
Ms. Williams from the Sebastian River Chamber of Commerce asked if a date was selected for
the sponsorship packet to go out. The Chamber of Commerce offered to wave the fee for them
to send a dedicated email to everyone on their directory.
Mr. Carlisle asked if there was a way for sponsors to donate electronically. Brian said he would
work with the Finance Dept. and MIS to see if that is possible.
3. NEXT MEETING
The next meeting is scheduled for February 13, 2023 at 10:00am to finalize the sponsorship
packet.
4. ADJOURN
