Notice is hereby given that meetings of the City Canvassing Boards will be held at the Indian River County Supervisor of Elections Office, 4375 43' Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32967 on the following dates: Oct. 13, 2023 8:00 a.m. Logic & Accuracy Test of Voting Equipment and Open, Process Ballots and Duplication of Mail Ballots Oct. 27, 2023 9:00 a.m. Open, Process Ballots, and Duplication of Mail Ballots Nov. 3, 2023 9:00 a.m. Open, Process Ballots and Duplication of Mail Ballots Nov. 7, 2023 1:00 P.M. Open, Process Ballots and Duplication of Mail Ballots 4:00 p.m. Open, Process Ballots and Duplication of Mail Ballots 7:00 p.m. Open, Process Ballots, Duplication of Mail Ballots, Canvass Provisional Ballots and Canvass of Election Returns Official Results, Conduct of Elections Report and Audit Precinct Selection Nov. 8, 2023 10:00 a.m. Process Ballots Nov. 9, 2023 5:00 P.M. Canvass Provisional Ballots, Cure Affidavits, Official Results, Conduct of Elections Report and Audit Precinct Selection Nov. 10, 2023 8:30 a.m. Recount (if necessary) Nov. 15, 2023 12:00 p.m. Post -Election Audit Note: Processing of mail ballots includes running ballots through the tabulation system and scanning ballots through the independent auditing system. The scanning is the basis for election audits. 'Complete and return request form available at www.VotelndianRiver.00v. In accordance with the Sunshine Law of Florida, these meetings are open to the public. Any challenge of a vote -by -mail ballot must be made before the ballots are canvassed, F.S. 101.68(2)(a). It may become necessary for the Canvassing Board to reconvene at times or places other than specified above. If so, the location, date, and time will be announced at the conclusion of the previous meeting, posted online at www.VoteindianRiver.ac,,, posted on the door of the Supervisor of Elections Office, and posted on the door of the City Hall. Note: Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, states that if a person decides to appeal any decision by the board, agency, or commission with respect to any matter considered at a meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal Is to be based.
