MUNICIPAL ELECTION — NOVEMBER 7, 2023
Per F.S. 101.572 - All Canvassing Board meetings are open to the public. Notice is hereby
given that meetings of the City Canvassing Boards will be held at the Indian River County
Supervisor of Elections Office, 4375 43' Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32967 on the following
dates:

Note: Processing of mail ballots includes running ballots through the tabulation system
and scanning ballots through the independent auditing system. The scanning is the basis
for election audits.

A candidate, a political party official, a political committee official, or an authorized designee
thereof, is allowed to observe the duplication of ballots and shall be granted reasonable
access upon request to review or inspect ballot materials before canvassing or tabulation.

In accordance with the Sunshine Law of Florida, these meetings are open to the public. Any
challenge of a vote -by -mail ballot must be made before the ballots are canvassed, F.S.
101.68(2)(a). It may become necessary for the Canvassing Board to reconvene at times or
places other than specified above. If so, the location, date, and time will be announced at
the conclusion of the previous meeting, posted online at www.VoteindianRiver.ac,,, posted
on the door of the Supervisor of Elections Office, and posted on the door of the City Hall.
Note: Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, states that if a person decides to appeal any
decision by the board, agency, or commission with respect to any matter considered at a
meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such
purpose, he or she may need to ensure that verbatim record of the proceedings is made,
which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal Is to be based.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), if any person with a disability,
as defined by the ADA, needs special accommodations to participate in these proceedings,
then not later than two business days prior to the proceedings, he or she should contact
the Supervisor of Elections Office at 772.226-470D.
