Before the contract start date, Precision Approach worked with Ranger’s survey team to collect existing elevation data for all existing lights and junction cans in this projects scope. Once this data was collected, it was then compared to the final grade data, and the  appropriate extensions and spacers were ordered for all light and junction can locations. These extensions and spacers were then  received and stored onsite. In January, Precision Approach removed all existing lights (edge, t‐hold, & in‐pavement) in Phases 1 & 2,  and performed demo cores at all in‐pavement locations in Phases 1 & 2. In addition, the extensions and spacers were installed on all  edge lights. On 2/2, Precision Approach received an email stating that KMA had found a bust in their survey data that would directly  affect the elevations for all light & junction can locations in this projects scope. Subsequent to this news, Precision Approach  received and worked through new survey data sets to determine what extensions and spacers could be reused and what needed to  be reordered. After being informed that the new survey data had survey errors, it was decided that the best course of action was to  wait for the inline paving to be completed to finalize existing and final grade data for all light locations. On 4/5, Precision Approach  received this "final" survey data from Ranger. From there, Precision Approach complied the data to determine what extensions and  spacers could / could not be reused, and produced a change order proposal to Ranger.  After discussion during the 4/15 progress  meeting, ICE  announced they would be performing on‐site measurements for all edge lights and their currently installed  extensions/ spacers. On 4/16, ICE conducted these on‐site measurements for all edge light locations and provided Construction  Change Directive #1 (see attached) on 4/24/24. Precision Approach will rearrange previously installed edge light extensions and  spacers as directed by the CCD #1.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Clarification: The items detailed below have been added to this change order as a direct result of the incorrect KMA survey data that  was provided in both the project plans and survey data sets:                                                                                                                                   •  Rearrangement of the previously installed edge light extensions and spacers (as directed by CCD #1). • 2” locate cores & cold asphalt patching for the in‐pavement lights 7ea, in‐pavement Jcans 6ea, and T‐hold lights 15ea. This will be  done to ensure the correct extensions and spacers are ordered / utilized for the in‐pavement and T‐hold locations. • Night installation of extensions & spacers located within the 5‐23 & 28‐10 intersection.                                                                                •The purchase of new extensions, spacers, and or flange rings for the  in‐pavement lights 7ea, in‐pavement Jcans 6ea, and T‐hold  lights 15ea.  4/30/2024 DocuSign Envelope ID:
