Re: Letter of Substantial Completion Acceptance
ICE was notified on May 28th, 2024, by (Contractor) that the Runway 5-23 Rehabilitation
at Sebastian Municipal Airport, Sebastian, Florida was substantially complete and opened
available for beneficial use on May 17th.
The work performed under this contract, excluding the punch list items, and long lead
electrical items (In-pavement, and Threshold Light’s spacers and extensions) has been
reviewed and found to be substantially complete. The date of substantial completion of
this contract is established as May 17th, 2024. The commencement date of applicable
warranties will be established upon completion of all punch list items.
A “punch list” will be generated upon scheduling field review and inspection after final
marking placement, and electrical long lead items delivery and installation, consisting of
deficiencies, however, failure to include any item on such list does not alter the
responsibility of the contractor to complete all work in accordance with the contract
documents. The date of commencement of warranties for the items on the punch list will
be the date of final payment unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
