(Kimley-Horn) prepared a 10-Year Water Supply Work Plan (WSP) in accordance with Section 163.3177 F.S. The purpose of the WSP is to establish the City's projected potable demands for the planning period, recognize existing and potential water supply sources, and consider the impact of the City's conservation measures. The Local Planning Agency, known as the Planning & Zoning Commission, previously held its transmittal hearing on August 17, 2023. The City Council approved for transmittal the proposed amendment to the State Land Planning Agency as part 0-23-10 which was subsequently adopted following review by the Agency and the applicable State Agencies on February 28, 2024 (Adoption Hearing). This amendment to the Comprehensive Plan amends the Infrastructure and Governance & Implementation elements to incorporate the City of Sebastian's Water Supply Work Plan (2023-2025). This amendment is subject to the State Coordinated Review process pursuant to Section 163.3184(4), Florida Statutes. This amendment is not applicable to an area of critical state concern.
