EVENTS COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
THURSDAY JULY 18, 2024 – 2:00 P.M.
2ND FLOOR CONFERENCE ROOM

1. The meeting was called to order at 2pm.
2 Awards Banquet
A. Catering
Cathy distributed a catering menu from Woody’s and the committee chose the meals for this
year’s Awards Banquet (see attached). Before the next meeting Cathy will reach out to
Kathleen Birt from Woody’s to find out the cost for them to cater the event.
B. Elks Club
Margarita will reach out to the Elk’s and make sure they have us down for the December 14 th
date. There was a discussion about last year’s event, guests were upset because the Elk’s
charged for water. Margarita will check to see if they could put pitchers of water on the tables
or can we do it ourselves.
C. Prizes
Cindy thought the prizes should coincide with the Wellness Program being implemented this
year. Suggestions were for a Fit Bit, a Ring Oura, an electric bike, a portable neck fan, and a
weekend getaway. The committee mentioned getting a virtual reality headset again this year
because of the positive feedback received about the one given away last year.
D. Employee Longevity
Cindy will provide the committee with the list of employees that will receive longevity awards
this year, to begin ordering the gift cards and pins.
E. Committee Matters
An emergency meeting was held on July 1st to decide if the committee wanted to use money
from the 50/50 raffle to purchase a monument for a fellow employee, Tim Depetro, who passed
away suddenly this past week. The committee was very much in favor of using a portion of
the raffle money for his monument.
The next meeting is scheduled for August 22, 2024 @ 2:00pm

• Bartender $300 / 5 Hours
All Packages are per person based on 50 or more people. There may be an
upchargeforfewerguests. Prices do not include 7% tax and 20%gratuity.
