MEETING CALLED TO ORDER BY MAYOR JIM GALLAGHER AT 7:00 P.M.

MAYOR GALLAGHER REMINDED EVERYONE THAT THE RECYCLING OF NEWSPAPERS THAT WAS CARRIED OUT
BY THE CITY OF 'VERO BEACH HAS BEEN CANCELLED. THE RECEPTACLE AT RIVERVIEW PARK HAS BEEN REMOVED.
ATTORNEY PALMER READ, IN ITS ENTIRETY, A PROCLAMATION OF GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION TO COLONEL
HANNEY CODD FOR DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN. COLONEL CODD WAS NOT IN ATTENDANCE

MAYOR GALLAGHER STATED THAT JANUARY 9, 1985, THERE WILL BE A PUBLIC HEARING ON AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING SECTION 2-63 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES REGARDING BID PROCEDURES. PUBLIC HEARING
WILL ALSO BE HELD ON JANUARY 9, 1985 REGARDING AN ORDINANCE OF THE ANNEXATION OF THE MILLER
PROPERTY ON CR. 512.

PARAGRAPH (A) OF SECTION 7-92 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES AND THEREBY PROVIDING FOR THE
APPOINTMENT OF TWO ALTERNATE MEMBERS OF THE CITY'S CONSTRUCTION BOARD, ALSO AMENDING
PARAGRAPH (e) OF SECTION 7-92 OF THE CODE AND THEREBY CHANGING THE QUORUM REQUIREMENT ~
FROM FIVE (5) MEMBERS TO FOUR (4)MEMBERS, ALSO AMENDING PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 7-93
OF THE CODE AND THEREBY REQUIRING THAT THE H & H BLOCK AND ASSOCIATES EXAM INCLUDE THE ADMIN
