R-2449 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING AN OFFICIAL LIST IDENTIFYING CITY OWNED REAL PROPERTY DEEMED APPROPRIATE FOR USE AS AFFORDABLE HOUSING PURSUANT TO SECTION 166.0451, FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER'S ERRORS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Section 166.0451, Florida Statutes requires that municipalities in the State of Florida prepare an inventory list of all real property within its jurisdiction to which the City holds fee simple title that is appropriate for use as affordable housing; and WHEREAS, Section 166.0451, Florida Statutes, further requires each municipality to review the inventory list at a public hearing, adopt a Resolution that includes the inventory list of such property, and to post this inventory list on the municipality's website; and WHEREAS, the City of Sebastian has reviewed the inventory of City owned property deemed suitable for affordable housing and now wishes to pursue the adoption of the inventory list as required by Section 166.0451, Florida Statutes. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of Sebastian, Florida, as follows: SECTION 1. RECITALS. The above recitals are hereby adopted and incorporated herein as the true and correct legislative findings of the City Council of the City of Sebastian. SECTION 2. ADOPTION. The City Council hereby adopts the official list of real property owned by the City which is appropriate for use as affordable housing pursuant to Section 166.0451, Florida Statutes, described below and made a part of this Resolution: 1. CONFLICTS. All Resolutions or parts thereof in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, superseded and repealed. SECTION 3. SCRIVENER'S ERRORS. Sections of this Resolution may be renumbered or re -lettered and corrections of typographical errors which do not affect the intent may be authorized by the City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, without need of public hearing, by filing a corrected copy of same with the City Clerk. SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Resolution was moved for adoption by Councilmember Dodd .
