HomeMy WebLinkAbout01071942 The City Council proceeded to canvass the returns and She result of said elec- tion as shown by said returns, and thereipon Councilman Smith introduced the fol- low lng re solut ion: WHEREAS, it appears from the returns of the general city election held December 8, 1941, duly certified in duplicate by the Clerk and a majority of the inspectors of said election, and one delivered by such lnspec$ors and Clerk to the President of the City Council and the other to the City Clerk, and by him transmitted to the City Council, that votes cawt at said election were as follows: For Mayor: L. O. Baughman received 16 Tot es; For members of the City Council, two to be elected: and B.E. Shaw received 16 votes; E.W. Vickers received 16 votes; W~44~, the City Council has canvassed the returns and the results as shown b~ the certificate of the Clerk and Inspectors of the election aforesaid and has found the same correct; therefore. BE IT RESOLVED, that the results of the general city election h,,ld in the City of Sebastian, Florida, on December 8, 1941, be and the same are hereby de$1ared ko be as follows: For Mayor: L. 0. Baughman For Councilmen: B. E. Shaw E. W. Vickers and that L. O.
