Mayor and ali_ councilmen were in attendance. No. one spoke against said amendment. Hearing closed at 7:12 REGUI,AR MEETING, January 10, 1966 Meeting called to order by President Zimmer at 7:15 P.M. Those present: Mayor Boone, Councilmen Bruce, Johnson, Owens, Deonardy and Zimmer. Minutes of December meeting were read and approved. Councilman ~eonardy moved that December bills, in amount of $1572.22, be paid. Seconded by Councilman Bruce, Carried. Fifteen minutes for public. Committee reports were read. Motion by Councilman l.eon~rdy that amendment to Zoning Ordinance be read for first time n its entirety. Seconded by Counci~..man Johnson. Roll call vote: Carried. " Zi~me r Nays: None Motion by Councilman ~eonardy that units ll and 12 of Sebastian High~ands be accepted for recording, and clerk to take ne0essary action to accomplish said recordings. Moti~ by Councilman Y,eonardy that Zoning Commission issue be removed from table and actiOh be postponed until February meeting. Seconded by Council. man Owens. Carried. io~ by Councilman Owens that ordinance on abandofting certain streets in Sebastian be read for first time in its entirety. Seconded by Councilman I~eonardy. Motion by Councilman I,eonardy that ~ax Assessor be authorized to adjust the tax bill on Sebasti~.n Gardens and that the Assessor b~autho~ized to add forty-one (41) lots in Sebasti~an High_an~s to t965 tax roll to be bi]_~ed tO individual owners. Seconded by Counci_%man Johnson! Carried. by Co .~an ~sns. Carried ..... Motion by Co~cilman ~ens that City Tax Assessor be authorized to join the "~orida Asseoi~' ation Assessi~ Officials" at a cost not to exceed ~10.00. Seconded by Councilman I, eonardY-,,,~' Councilman I~eonardy gave a resume of his efforts to attract industry to Sebastian, at his suggestion, he was appointed a committee of one to contact municipal develope and to follow through on tentative pi_ans.
