HE FELT IT WOULD NOT BE PROPER TO POSTPONE THE APPOINTMENT OF THE VICE MAYOR UNTIL MARCH. ATTORNEY PALMER ADVISED THE COUNCIL TO ELECT A VICE MAYOR AT THIS TIME. QUESTIONED THE AMOUNT OF MONEY ALLOCATED TO THE BARBER VICE MAYOR ROTH STATED THAT THERE HAD BEEN NO ADDITIONAL MONIES ALLOCATED, HOWEVER, THE FIGURE SHOWN ON THE PROPOSED BUDGET WAS FORWARDED FOR THIS YEARS EXPENDITURES. MR. ARTHUR LEMIER, CITRUS STREET, RECOMMENDED THAT THE COUNCIL AMEND THE ALLOCATED FUNDS FOR THE RENOVATION OF THE HARDEE PARK AND SET ASIDE FUNDS FOR EMERGENCIES. COUNCILMAN VALLONE STATED THAT HE FELT THT THE COUNCIL SHOULD ALLOCATE ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE BARBER STREET SUB-STATION, MONIES COULD BE TAKEN FROM THE TITLE DEVELOPMENT OF LAKE HARDEE PARK AND RECOMMENDED THAT THE COUNCIL CONSIDER THE FIGURE OF $5,000.00.
