Meeting was called to order by President Sembler.
Those present were :',layer Stevenson,Pres.Sembler and Councilmen Benschop,
Chesser,Ellingsen and Brehmer.
Clerk read an application for a bulkhead from Seesley brothers.
Councilman Ellingsen made a motion to accept th~s application,seco~ld.~d
by ~Lrs. Ches set. Carried.
President Sembler gave his report of a meeting with i~lr.Meadows amd
~'~r.Pitts of Southern Construction Company which was as follows:The ~se of
equipment over three tons not to be allowed on any City streets excepting
Martin Ave,Main Street,First street and ninth street.
The parking of heavy equipment on Coolidge street was discussed and the
Council ~ani:'uously decided not to allow any construction equipment to be
parked on the above mentioned street.
Clerk read a working agreement f~.om the City Atty.for the current year,
stating his fee and the duties he would perform for the City.
Councilman Ellingsen made a motion that C.T.Walker be relieved o~ his
duties as City Attorney to become effective l~rch 1,1958.Seconded b/ Co~c~
man Brehmer.CarPied.
Mayor Stevenson read a letter from Merrill Barber to. the State Road Dept
~ertainlng to intersections of North Central and the new hi~shway,

This :.u~'~eting was called for Com':nittee reports on the ,~..uployment of a
City Attorney and location of a City dump,also the donation of envelopes
to the Chamber of Co~u,uerce.
A motion was made b.'/ Councilman Ellingsen to donate 200 of the City's
envelopes to the Sebastian River Area Chamber of Co,n'r~erce,secended by
Councilman Benschop. Carried.
County Com.nissioner Macdonald net with the Couhcil and reported that
the Co~muty was willing to purchase property for a City dump if suitable.

President Sembler reported that L.B.Vocelle agreed to act in the cap-
acity of City Attorney for the City of Sebastian on the following ter_ns:
Attend six 'meetings per year,to act in an advisory capacity fo~ all City
legal matters,an additional fee of %~25.00 for each me~ting over six per
year,to be reimbursed for phone calls and other expenses in behalf of.the,
City at a fee of 4~1600.00 per year.
Councilman Ellingsen made a motion to employ L.h~.Vocelle as City Atty.
