~eeting called to order by President Sweatt
'z'hose present were ~yor Shaffer,President Sweatt and uouncilmen Sembler,~llingsen
'£aylor and ~rs ~hesser.
·'here being no corrections or additions minutes of the last meeting were approved
as read.
Pill presented by ~r George ~lorschutz of ~32.00 for strlpeing shuffle board and
one concrete bench was authorized to be paid on motion by uouncilm an ~llingsen which
was seconded by ~ouncilman Sembler and carried.
Building permit presented by ~r middleton was approved on motion by uouncilman
~llingsen and seconded by ~rs ~hesser.uarried.
Councilman ~embler offered resolution to sell lots 2 and 3 of block 1 of the
ochool rark S/~ for the sum of ~400.00 to ~ ~arl gwanson ~ Wif& ~elia,said resolution
seconGed Oy ~ouncilman ~hess~r and carried.
Insurance policy which was approved by the City Attorney was authorized to be paid
on motion by Councilman Ellingsen and seconded by Councilman Sembler,providing that the
Volunteer Firemen accept the obligation of paying the 25% additional for the secon~ piece
of equipment when put in service. Carried~
~rs Chesser was authorized to secure price on wiring the ~ity ~ark and the Clerk
authorized to buy rough service bulbs.
Motion by Councilman Ellingsen and seconded by ~Irs Chesser tha~ ~he Police '~ep't
investigate all trailors in the City and report on same an~ sanitary conditions at the
next regular Council meeting.Carried.
Motion ~y Councilman Ellingsen and seconded by Councilman Taylor to have large
typewriter repaired and the Clerk was authorized to secure another typewriter in place
of the old one now being used,subject to the approval of the Mayor.carried.
Clerk instructed to write letter to E.E.Carter as ~?the repair of the Old Dixie
north of ninth street. ~lso letter to Sherman Smith Jr, that the City is ready to cooper-
ate with the County as soon as the City cmn receive s~ch information as is needed.
Motion ~y Councilman Ellingsen which was seconded by Councilman Taylor that the
City draw up a resolution of acceptance on the Pelican ~sland signs to be placed some
where in the City,provided the upkeep is to be minor which is to include painting every
second or third year.If signs are destroyed by wind,flood or fire or by any act consideSed
an act of God the City of Sebastian will not replace said signs. Carried.

l~eeting called for the purpose of considering ~ullding permit for W.~i.~c Colloughg
~eeting called to order 0y President Protein Taylor.
Those present w ~.e ~ayor Shaffer and CounciLmen Taylor,Sem~ler,Ellingsen and Mrs
Chesser.
W.~.McCollough requested Building permit which was approved on Motion ~y Councilman
Sembler and seconded by Cou.N~cilman Ellingsen and c~rried.
