PLANNING PROGRAm.
~AYOR CRAGG OUTLINED THE NECESSARY STEPS TO BE TAKEN BY THE CITY TO ENTER THE PROGRAm, STATING THE
DEADLINE FOR FILING THE REPORT IS JANUARY 31, 1977. A PRE-APPLICATION FORm HAS BEEN CONPLETED BY THE
COUNTY AND mAYOR CRAGG ASKED THE COUNCIL TO CONSIDER ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION WHEREIN THE COMMUNITY
COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING ASSISTANCE PROGRAm, ADMINISTERED BY'THE STATE OF FLORIDA, DEPARTMENT OF
COmmUNITY AFFAIRS, OFFERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO STRENGTHEN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROCESS THROUGH
THE CONDUCT OF A PLANNING PROGRAm.

APPLICATION TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR LOCAL PLANNING ASSISTANCE
FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1977. CARRIED.
