l~eeting called to order by President Sweatt
'~'hose present were Mayor Shaffer,President Sweatt and Gouncilmen Sembler,mllingsen
faylor and mrs ~hesser.
· ,'~here being no corrections or additions minutes of the last meeting were approved
as read.
~ill presented by ~r George ~'lorschutz of ~32.00 for strlpeing shuffle board and
one concrete bench was authorized to be paid on motion by Gouncilm an ~llingsen which
was seconded by ~ouncilman Sembler and c~ried.
Building permit presented ~y ~r ~iddleton was approved on motion by Gouncilman
,~llingsen and seconded by ~rs ~hesser.~arried.
Gouncilman ~embler offered resolution to sell lots 2 and 3 of block i of the
ochool ~ark S/~ for ~he sum of ~400.00 to ~ ~arl gwanson ~ ~lf& ~ella,said resolution
seconGed ~y ~ouncilman ~hess~r and carried.
Ins~nce policy which was approved by the City Attorney was authorized to be paid
on motion by Councilman Ellingsen and seconded by Councilman Sembler,provlding that the
Volunteer Firemen accept the obligation of paying the 25% additional for the secon~ piece
of equipment when put in service. Carried~
Mrs Chesser was authorized to secure price on wiring the ~ity Sark and the Clerk
authorized to buy rough service bulbs.
Motion ~y Councilman Elllngsen and seconded by ~:rs Chesser that thc Police Dep't
investigate all trallors in the City and report on-same an~ sanitary conditions at the
next regular Council meeting.Carried.
Motion by Councilman Ellingsen and seconded by Councilman Taylor to have large
typewriter repaired and the Clerk was authorized to secure another typewriter in place
of the old one now being used,subject to the approval of the Mayor.carried.
Clerk instructed to write letter to E.E.Carter as %0~the repair of the 01d Dixie
north of ninth street. Also letter to Sherman Smith Jr, that the City is ready to cooper-
ate with the County as soon as the City cmn receive shch information as is needed.
Motion by Councilman Ellingsen which was seconded by Councilman Taylor that the
City draw up a resolution of acceptance on the Pelican '~sland signs to be placed some
where in th~ City,provided the upkeep is to be minor which is to include painting every
second or third year.If signs are destroyed by wind,flood or fire or by any act considered
an act of God the City of Sebastian will not replace said signs. Carried.

Meeting called for the purpose of considering building permit for W.~.Mc Colloughg
Meeting called to order hy President Protem Taylor.
Those present were ~ayor Shaffer and Councilmen Taylor,Sembler,Ellingsen and Mrs
Chesser.
W.M.~cCollough requested Building permit which was approved on ~fotion by Councilman
Sembler and seconded by Councilman Ellingsen and carried.
There being no more business meeting was duly adjourned.
