Baughman Councilmen Hardee and Park absent Clerk Lenora K. Park Attorney W.A. Merriman( Vocelle & Mitchell) The minutes of the regular meeting of 2anumz3~ 26, were read and approved. Councilman Hicks moved that the minutes of the Special 1Weeting of December 31, 1930 regmrding the crossillg at Main Street be corrected ~s follows: That the Council has no objections to have the automatic signals p/aced thirty feet in the clear' the location to be measured 15 feet North and South from the center line of East Main Street extended West across the tracks; which was seconded by CounciLman Baughmau and carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Hicks, Baughman, and ~rtin Nays None. CHAPTER NO. 70 AN ORDiNANCE lqVSo0SING A LICENSE TAX ON WHOLESALE DEALERS IN AUTOMOBILE TIRES AND ACCESSORIES; PROVIDING FOR TH~ PA~K~NT THEREOF; AND PRESCRIBING A PA/~ALTY FOR VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE. Was read for the first time in full. Councilman Hicks moved tb~t Ordinance be read tho second time by title only; which was seconded by Councilman Baughman and carried. Councilman Hicks moved that Ordinance be rcad the third ties by title only and put upon its passage; which was seconded by Councilman Baughman and carried. Roll Call: Ayes: Councilmen Hicks, Baughman and Martin. Nay s: None. The Florida Power & Light Company reported they could not discontinue the nut,bet of street lights the City asked for as the machine cannot regulate on a s~aller number than ten. ~.0 will be the smmllest number they can operate and regulate satisfactorily. This was referred to the light Committee to report at next Regular Meeting. It was suggested by Chairman Martin, that the City place permanent markers at the NorthEast end Southeast corners of Na-in Street and Louisiana Avenue. This was agreeable with the Council. Regulating heavy truck traffic over the streets in the City was brought before the Council this is to be discussed at the next meeting. MOTION: made by Councilman Hicks, Seconded by Councilman Baughman that Council adjourn. Mot ion carrie d.
