Those present were ~.![ayor Shaffer,Fresident Sweatt and Cou¥.cilmen Sembler,Elling6en,
Dahlstrom and Nash. Attorney Walker present.
There being no corrections both minutes of regular meeting of J'~uary 28th. and
special meeting of January 31th were approved as read.
Mayor :Shaffer reported to the Council that the police car was not giving the service
as expected and the uouncil instructed him to handle as he see fit and report to the Council
for final decision.
Chairman of th~ Street and alley reported drive in park a~out finished as 60 y~-~rds
of marl had been hauled in and that it would be sufficient to care for the drive .
Chairman of the ~ire ~eapartment had nothing to report on the fire department,but
didask for a financial report once a month so the Oouncilmen would know how ~he City with
funds on hand and as to what they could spend.
It was moved by ~ouncilman ~llingsen and seconded ~y councilman Sem~ler to pass on
Ouilding permit for ~fr S.~.P~rX for cottage 12xby 20. ~arr~ed.
~uilding permit for G.W.~dams for carport garage for two cars was granted on motion
by Oouncilamn ~llingsen and seconded by ~ouncilman ~0ahlstrom.Car'~ied.
Bllls~amounting to $110.28 approved by the finance committee~were authorized to ~e
~aid on motion by oou~cilman ~lllngsen and seeended ~y Councilman N~sn and Carried.
A 0ill for ~55.26 was pres,~nted from the Sunrise 0ry ~leaning ~o for 2 pair trousers
~nd~three shirts for chief Adams and insomuch as the shirts were not what he ordered and
were to he returned,the bill was ordered reduced ~o ,z~2.00 the price of the 2 pair of
tr~Qsers.Tax and .price of shirts cancelled,reduction authorized by motion by Oouncilman
~ll~gsen and seconded by ~ouncilman ~'ash.c~rried.

and moved its adoption.

Upon motion made by Councilman Sembler seconded by Councilman Ellingsen and unanimously
carried, said Ordinance was read the secoud time by title or. ly; there being no amendments off.

Thereupon said Ordinance having received an affirmative vote of three fifths of all
members of the Council was declared duly adopted and upon being presented to the ~ayor and
having received his approval was numbered as Chapter No 107-a of the Ordinances of said City
and was tereupon duly posted at the door of the City Hall of the City of Sebastian in
accordance with the provisions of section 85 of chapter 16683 of the laws of Florida,being
Charter of the said City.

Upon motion b~ade by Councilman Sembler and seconded by Councilman Ellingsen and
unanim,usly carried,said Ordinance was read the first time in full.
Upon motion made by Councilman Sembler seconded by Councilman Ellingsen and unanimously
carried,said Ordinance was read the second time by title only; there being no amendments
offered upon motion made by Councilman Sembler seconded by Counc~.lman Ellingsen said Ordinance
was read the third time by title only and placed upon its fi~ ~,~.~sage. The roll being called

Chapter No.13 of the Ordinances of the City of Sebastian, Florida,entitled "An 0rdinan
fixing the amount' of Costs to ~sses~ed Against PersOns Convicted of Violation of the
.of the Town of Sebastian,Florida in the ~ayor's Court of said Town,And for Other Purpose~
and moved its adoption.
Upon motion made by Councilman Dahlstrom and seconded by Councilman Nash and
unanin/ously carried,said Ordinance was read the f~rst time in full.
Upon motion made by Councilman Dahlstrom seconded by Councilman Nash and unanimousll
carried,said Ordinance was read the second time by title only; there being no amendements
offered upon motion made by Councilman Dahlstrom seconded by CouncilmaD Nash said Ordinance
