The plans have been revised per our last meeting with the City. Upon your review and approval, we will complete the bid docs. I believe the bid doc preparation will take me 2 to 3 weeks, so we could advertise in 3 to 5 weeks. The changes were as follows: 2. The wall mounted countertops/sink bowls were replaced with hdcp wall mounted lays. . A stainless steel utility shelf was added in each restroom. 1. Storage cabinets "By Owner" are shown in each restroom. . A locking type hose bibb has been added in each restroom. !. 5. The new door locks have been specified to be keyed to the owner's schlage keyway. Please note that there is an existing wall mounted light outside the door at the top of the stairway so I did not add one. The flush valve cut sheet sent to me (prior to the last meeting) has a 1.0 Gallon per flush capacity. I don't know if it is being used on both toilets and urinals orjust on urinals. The code allows a maximum size of 1.6 gallons per flush for toilets and 1.0 for urinals. I specified them to be the maximums permitted by the code. I am told that the most likely cause of problems with flush valves is a building service line that is too small to deliver the flow required. The existing urinals are on flush valves now and are working ok so I suspect the new toilet flush valves will also work. These plans are done except for a couple of structural notes that need to be added. I need to add the following: 1. Structural design criteria. 2. Wind pressures for the roof and the new restroom doors. 3. A note giving the size expansion bolts required for attaching the legs of the stairway to the building tie - beam. The stairs have legs that go to the ground on the outside face but there is nowhere to bring them down against the building. I have required the stair supplier to provide sealed drawings for the stairs themselves. See sheet A-4. Let me know if you have any questions or comments. Thanks, Best regards, Joseph W.
