MEETING CALLED TO ORDER BY MAYOR JIM GALLAGHER AT 7:00 P.M.

GEORGE REARDON MADE A PLEA FOR CITIZENS TO DONATE TO THE PURPLE HEART ORGANIZATION.
MR. REARDON WAS PERMITTED TO COLLECT DONATIONS DURING THE MEETING.
MAYOR GALLAGHER REMINDED THE PUBLIC THAT SATURDAY, MARCH 2nd AND SUNDAY MARCH 3rd
1985, IS RAT PATROL WEEKEND.
MAYOR GALLAGHER OPENED THE PUBLIC HI

AMENDING RESOLUTION NUMBER R-84-32, ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 19, 1984, WHICH RESOLUTION
ADOPTED THE FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR OF 1984-1985;

COMMITTEE THATTHEY DID NOT ALLOCATE ANY PORTION OF THE MONEY TO THE LITTLE LEAGUE.

CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NUMBER R-84-32, ADOPTED ON SEPT~BER 19, 1984,
WHICH RESOLUTION ADOPTED THE FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR OF 1984-85;
THIS RESOLUTION CHANGES THE EXPENDITURE OF $47,000.00 ALLOTED TO THE RECREATION CENTER
TO THE BARBER STREET FIRE STATION.

MAYOR GALLAGHER STATED IF THERE WERE NO OBJECTIONS FROM COUNCIL, MR. KRAGES WOULD LIKE
TO PUT OUT TO BID FOR A RIDING SAND TRAP RAKE. BIDS WILL BE OPENED AT THE MARCH 6th, 1985
WORKSHOP MEETING.
MR. JEFF HORNE ADDRESSED COUNCIL REGARDING THE LITTLE LEAGUE FIELD SITUATION. MR.HORNE
REQUESTED THAT COUNCIL AUTHORIZE CITY ATTORNEY PALMER TO NEGOTIATE A LOAN AGREEMENT THAT
CITY COUNCIL WILL CO-SIGN FOR THE SEBASTIAN AREA LITTLE LEAGUE ASSOCIATION FOR LIGHTS AT
THE BALLFIELD.
COUNCIL AGREED THAT MR. HORNE AND CITY' ATTORNEY PALMER COULD MEET AND SET UP SOME SORT
OF AGREEMENT REGARDING CITY CO-SIGNING FOR LITTLE LEAGUE ASSOCIATION LOAN.
MRS. MARY C CARPENTER, OF THE SEBASTIAN RIVER AREA HISTORICAL GROUP,"ADDRESSED COUNCIL
REGARDING THE RESTORATION OF THE RAILROAD STATION ON VICKERS ROAD.
MAYOR GALLAGHER RECOMMENDED TO COUNCIL THAT HE WOULD LIKE TO BRING THIS MATTER UP AT THE
MARCH 6, 1985 WORKSHOP MEETING.
MAYOR GALLAGHER STATED THAT MORE TIME WAS REQUIRED TO EVALUATE THE ROAD SIDE RADIO PROGRAM
A DISCUSSION WAS SCHEDULED FOR THE MARCH 6, 1985 WORKSHOP MEETING.
