Minutes of regular meeting for Feb. 13th, were read and approved.
And the matter in regard to the old school property was brought up and
discussed, Mr. G. £. ~arkoskie representing the school board was present,
and he brought up a proposition that was made by council at a former meeting
of the school board, and asked the council if that proposition wss still
open; the the proposition being that if the School Board would deed the old
school property to the City of Sebastian, provided, the city would waive the
paving assessments the new school property, out objection was raised by Mr.
Loving, who was present in the interest of the 'bondholders, that it would
conflict with the paving lien against the property.
Councilman Vickers moved to postpone definite action until meeting of
school 0card on march, 7th, sec. by Hardee, motion carried.
Mr. H. w. Loving and Mr. Mussell Snow, who was also present representing
the bondholders, and the matter in regard to street bonds and coupons was
taken up with the council, and report by the clerk as to the amount of paving
and delinquent taxes collected was asked for, and the amount collected was
found to be disappointing.
Mr. Loving addressed the meeting, and asked that immediate action be
taken, and foreclosure be instituted against certain property holders that
was known to be able to pay,and would not.
He also agreod to hold open the 80% reduction for a short time and would
give l0 days notice before closing.
Nr. Snow proposed to council to call a spec~f~n~ see about the fore-
closure on certain delinquent properties to the extent necessary to pay
delinquent bonds in the amount of ~ 45.000.
Motion by Baughman that an adjourned moeting be called to take up the
matter next Monday, ~rch 7th, at 7:30 D. M. second by Glasgow, ~otion
carried, meeting adjourned.
