Meeting called to order by Pres. Protein Yaylor.
Those present were Mayor Shaffer,President Protem Taylor and Cpuncilmen Sembler,
Elllngsen and ~rs Chesser.
Minutes of the Last regular meeting of January 25th and Special ~.~eeting of January
28th.were approved as read.
Bills amounting to $5?4.59 approved by the ~'~nance Committee were authorized to be
paid on motion by Councilman Elllngsen which was seconded by Councilman Sembler and Carried.
Building permit application prescribed by Gerald L.De Vane was appro~..~ed on motion
0y Councilman ~llingsen and seconded by Councilman Serabler and carried.
Membership in the League of ~u~lcipalities was sesinded on motion by Councilman
Elllngsen and seconded by Councilman Semoler.c~rried.
Cou~'~cllam C~esser advised the Council that the City was invited to take space in
tent at the Fair which would open in Voro l~eaoh l~arch 8th. through the 13th.said mpace
would allotted at ~o charge and that only expense to~th~Clty would 'be cost of prepalring
~ooth.After some discussion it was ~oved ~$ Councilm~m~ the City of ~ebastian co.operate
with the project and ~hat Councilman Chesser 0e m'~de Chairman,said me,ion v/as seconded by
Councilman ~llingsen and carried.
Social Security for the City employees'was discussed and Councilnan Elli~gsen moved
the City adopt resolution on same which was seconded by Councilman ~embler.c~'~rried.
The City Clerk a~vised ~he City Council that the Charles L.Futch Post 189 of the
American Legion would like to 0uy additional land adjoining ~hefr present,property to build
a new Legion Home on and Councilman Se~ler moved that tho"City sell ~he American Legion
all land south of the dump road to their present line after fifty feet had been reserved
for road purpose.Said motion was seconded by Councilman Elllngsen.Carried.Price for said
property to be Two Hundred Fifty dollars.
Councilman Ellingsen reported that the septic tank at the masonic home was in worse
shape than ever and if somthing was not done the State Sanitary inspector would be notified.
~rs Chesser reported that water in the park was soaping through the ground and it
was aEreed that the City man repair same.
There being no ~ore business to come before the Council meeting was duly adjourned.

Bills amounting to $219.12 approved by the finance committee were authorized to be paid
on mot io~ hy Councilman Ellingsen which was s~conded ~y Cou~cilman Taylor and carried..
Letter from Representative Smith concerning the U.S.l.right of way was read and the
clerk was asked to write a letter to ~ Smith in answer to same,advising him the City was not
ready at this time to specify as to location of the new Highway right-of-way,and to also
advise him ~hat two petitions were presented to the City Council to look over and the same
were to be mailed to Er Smith by the Committee who secured the names thereon.Said petitions
conOained names of the local Citizens of the City of 3ebastians and their views.Said leDter
was authorized by mo~ion ~y Co'~cilman Ellingson and seconded by Councilman Taylor ~nd c~rried.

~ccept the present survey points of ~he Waters property by the issueing of a Quick Claim deed
