Those answering roll call were President Middleton,Councilmen Sembler,Stevenson, Letchworth and Anderson.Chas A.Mitchell City's Attorney present.Mayor Roberts Absent. Bills approved b$ the finance committee were ordered paid by motion by Councilman Stevenson and seconded by 0ouncilman Anderson. Florida Power & Light Officials were present and told the City Council they would cooperate with the City on the light program. Coach Thompsom Superntendent of the Board of Public Instruction appeared in behalf of the School Board,as they had had complaints as to the cutting of the pine trees in front of the School House. Councilman Sembler asked the Supertendent to meet with him the next at the School so they could derive at desission as to cut all of the troes or if some might be left standing for a while longer. Mr Jackson of the Board of public Health reported to the City Council that the Citizens of Sebastian had received him and approved of the work to be done and that he had had full cooperation from tham. The removing of rubbish was again brSught up as to whether the City would collect again on Saturday March 5th. Councilman Letchworth offered the City his truck for the sum of Three Dollars for the work and it was moved by Councilman Stevenson and seconded by Councilman Anderson to accept offer.Carried. It was moved by Councilman Anderson and seconded by Councilman Letchworth to pay Mrs M~agrete Ryall Five Dollars for the rock they received from her place for the fill at Lousiana Ave culvert.Carried. The Clerk was instructed to write Mr C.B.Law to see what posibl~.~hance ~here was in having one man assigned to this section for the spraying for mosquetoes. Motion by Councilman Anderson and seconded by Councilman Stevenson passed same . The question was again brought up about chairs for the City Hall and the Clerk was instructed to keep in c~nstant contact with any and all persons where they could be bought. Application for building permi$ by John Mays for store Wa$.i.a~p~oved on motion by Councilman E~ec~w~<'~n~Ys~ende~',b~ Councilman Anderson. Said store to retail flshsm~lt:~sh~g tackle. It was moved by $ouncilman Letchworth and seconded by Councilman Anderson that the City buy back lands at the west end of Main St now owned by the County and State for the sum of two hundred forty dollars.Said lands include lots ?,8,~,10,11 and 12 in block 5 School Park Heplat and also about 26 acres of other land. It was agreed that the ~ity pay for the lighting of the Ball Park again this year on a motion byvCouncilman Stevenson and seconded by Councilman Letchworth.
