Those present were Mayor Middleton,President Anderson and councilmen Letchworth and Ellingsen. $ouncilmen Sembler and Park absent. Minutes of regular meeting of March ?,1950 were read and approved. Bills to the amount of ~100.50 approved by the ~'inance Oommittee were prdered paid on motion by ~ouncilman ~llingsen~ and seconded byvOouncilman Letchwo~h. After a discussion as to the buying gas for the police car~ moved by Councilman Ellingsen and seconded by ~ouncllman A~etchworth that the city pnrchase gas for the poliw~ car from the gas stations in Sebastian rotating the business each week and to start at t~ the sou~h end of town.carried. Bills~ to the amount ~f$603.11 approved by the finance com~ttee were ordered paid on motion by Councilman Sembler and seconded by councilman Park. It was moved by councilman Sembler and seconded by Councilman Park that Mr De Wahlebe written a letter of appresiation w~ th a box of cigars for his fine cooperation in putting a new roof on the' uity Hall. Officer Thiesse sked the Council permission to take his vacation the first two weeks in June.which was approved on motion by councilman Sembler and seconded by oouncilman Park. Councilman Ellingsen moved that a motion he made at regular meeting of March 21st. be rescinded(Motion was to buy gas for all of the ui~y equipment at the various gas stations in the City which wasseconded by councilman ~etchworth). This motion was duly eecomded by Councilman Letchworth and carried. At this time Councilman Sem~ler Ohairman of the street and Alley committee asked that the City Cub Tractor and Gravley be allowed to use hte white gas from ~.E'sService as it was not too far to get it when needed. It was then moved by Councilman Park and seconded by councilman Sembler tobuy all gas for the Cub Tractor,Gravely and :ire xruck at ~.m's Service and continue to buy gas from the rest of the service stations for the Police Gar as usual.carried. Mayor Middleton brought a complaint befor the Council as to the lighting on Lousiana Ave and Chairman of the light committee,$eun~llman ~llingsen was instructed to into the matter and report at the next meetlng~ Councilman Letchwo~h Chairman of the Sanitary Committee asked that a letter be sent to all persons in the City or property owners who do not have septic tanks on their property notifying them of July first was the dead line allowed by the City to conform with the City Ordinance number ll6.The Olerk not having a list of same shall get list from the State Sanitary Inspectors.
