Co~cil's decision was to have Co~cilm~ Ellinssen notify Harry's City Bar
of an ~s~itary condition in rear of their place of business.
Clerk presented a plat to the Co~cil from the State Road dep~rtment showing
plans to keep portion of North Central Ave. at the North intersection of the
n~ Highway open to one way traffic going North.
Co~cil agreed as a whole to allow road contractors the use of the City well
in rear of City Hall providing the road to this well would be left in good con-
dition and drivers of these trucks would not interfere with the Fire Dept.
Clerk was instructed to have L.B.Vocelle meet with the Co~cil on Monday
March 3rd at 7:30 P.M..
The subject of new Police revolvers was discussed and the Co~cil's decision
was to allow Mayor Stevenson to attend this matter om motion by Co~cilman
Brehmer,seconded by Co~cilm~ Benschop. Carried.
Clerk was instructed to notify ~.Thomas Sette that his services for garbag
disposal for the City would not be needed at this time.
The Co~cil agreed to place lO minute parking signs in two parking spaces
in front of Post Office ~d one ho~ parking signs in front of business places
on South side of Main Street.
Co~cilman Brehmer made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Co~cilm~n Ben-
scop. Carried.

Special Meeting March 3,1958
Meeting was called to order by President Sembler.
Those present were Mayor ~tevenson,President Sembler and Councilmen EllinEs
en,Chesser,Brehmer and Benschop. Attorney Vocelle present.
Clerk read a letter from Sherman Smith regarding the use of a 12 acre tract
of land designated as a Cemetery for the use of a proposed City dump.
Councilman Elllngsen made a motion not to use above mentioned property for
a City dump, seconded by Councilman Benschop. Carried.
City Clerk was instructed to have lights turned on in the ball park.
Mayor Stevenson reported to the Council that he and the County Engineer had
inspected a problem of drainage in a pond near West City limits.
Clerk was instructed to write mosquito control for their assistance ~n the
above mentioned drainage problem.
Mrs.Chesser made a motion the City donate $10.O0 to the Red Cross,seconded
by Councilman Ellingsen. Carried.
Councilman Benschop made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Councilman
Ellingsen. Carried.
