Minutes of last regular meeting read and corrected on purchase of in- sure nc e. Report from Councilman Turlington about fixing nineth street. Captain Bass' office to look over and try to fix same. Louisiana Ave: Mr. Shafor stated that work would not start before:the fifteenth of the month. Councilman Bohannon said all lights had been replaced where parts were not meeded. Councilman Bohannon introduced the following Ordinance: AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THETOWNMARSHALL OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, AND THE DUTIES OF SUCH ~WNMARSHALL AND PROVIDING THAT SUCH TOWNMARSHALL SHALL ALSO BE KNOWN AS THE CHIEF OF POLICE OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, AND THAT THE TOWN MARSHALL AND THE CHIEF OF POLICE 0F THE. CITY OF SEBASTIAN, ELORIDA. SHALL BE Oh~ AND THE SAME PERSON. AND THAT THE DUTIES OF THE CHIEF OF POLICE OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, SHALL BE IDENTIC~L WITH THE DUTIES OF THETOWN MARSHALL OF SUCH CITY. Councilman Sembler introduced the following Ordinance: AN ORDINANCE PROVID~NG AND LEVYING A LICENSE TAX UPON OPERATORS OF RETAIL FRUIT STraNDS AIU) RETAIL ROAD-SIDE STANDS IN THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, AND FIXING THE AMOUNT OF SUCH TAX AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE. Read first time in full; second a~El third times by title only. Upon being duly seconded by Councilman Turlington, the vote. AYES: NAYS: Sembler, Turling~om, Bohannon, Middleton. NONE., Councilman Sembler introduced the following Ordinance: AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERATION ~FVEHICLES WITHIN THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA; C05~AINING DEFINITIONS; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE. Read first time in full; second and third times by title only. Upon being duly seconded t~y Councilman Turltngton, the vote. AYES: NAYS: Sembler, Turlington, Bohannon, Middleton. NONE. Liens: All cities sales give property free from all Liens. It was suggested by Mr. Mitchell that a circular letter be sent to all prop- erty holders with dellncuent Liens asking that they pay the 20% on the liens. Clerk asked to notify these people that at the end of sixty days interest on delinquent liens will be increased. Motion made by Councilman Bohannon that the Council get an up to date abstract on the Sebastian Airport. Seconded by Councilman Sembler.
