Those present were ~yor Shaffer,Presldent Sweatt,Councilmen Sembler,Ellingsen, Dahlstrom and Nash. attorney J.T.Vocelle present. Minutes of the last regular meeting and apecial meeting were approved as read. Bills approved by the ~'inance Committee were ordered paid on motion by Councilman Ellingsen and seconded by Cou~cilman Nash.~ar~ied. Clerk to check with the Telephone Co as to error in listing O~eechobee on bill. Mayor Shaffer called the Council's attention to a ring that had been taken in as collateral for twenty five dollar ~ond in fine and forfeiture account and that Clerk had offered the City Twenty five dollars for sa~e,and it was moved by Councilman ~llingsen secon ed by Councilman Nash that the Clerk write the owner of the ring and tell him that after the first day of April said ring would be sold if not redeemed.~arrled; after discssing the bonds the City have in the safety deposit box at t~e indian ~iver Citrus ban~ whether to keep them or dispose of them 'by having them cancelled,it was moved by Councilnan Sembler which was seconded ~y ~ou~cilman ~ash to have said bonds cancelled and disposed of.Carried. Those present were Mayor Shaffer,President 8weatt,Councilmen Sembler,Ellingsen, 'Dahlstrom and Nash. ~ l~lnutes of the last meeting were approved as read. Mayor Shaffer reported the Police Department milage from Feb.25th to March 24th was 1231 miles ,useingc97 gal gas which figured 12.9 miles to gal. 28 tickets given out for the amount of $787.00 12 of which were for passing the school bus and two warnings were issued.Expense for police car was wash Job ,~1.25 ~ax and polish $6.50 gas $ 30.90 for total $~8.65. Bill for the amount of $E1.04 covering the health department purchase of new set of scales ~as authorized on motion b~ Councilman Ellingsen and secondedcby Counc i lman Nash .Carr led. The Clerk was asked to write~.to County Commissioner Watts and have him meet with the City Council on the se6~I~d meeting of April which is ~!onday April 14,1952. Meeting is to find out if the uity of SebastiR~n is entitled to any funds from the Bridge and.Drainage funds. being no mo~ business meeting was duly adjourned. Clerk
