~.finutes of regular meeting of Feb. 2?th, were read and approved.
A resolution in regard to deeding of old school property to City of ~ebastian
by the School Board, was introduced by Glasgow, seconded by Baughman,
and the following resolution was adopted, .&yes, Glasgow, Baughman, Yardee,
Fields, ~ays, None.
whereas, the City of ~ebastian, Florida, has heretofore levied assessments
against certain property in said city covering costs of construction of s~reets
and sidewalks therein; and
Whereas, among other property so assessed there is that certain property
known as the old school house property, more particularly described as
fol~ows; to wit;
Beg. on west side ~R at continuation of ~orth line of 60 foo~ street, w
210 fi, ~outh 210 ft, East 210 ft, North to beg. of [~"~'~:~:~'~'""~' (:]"":"~'~'
A. ~° ~ 2/D. and the
ne~~ school house property more particularly described as follows, to wit:
4 acres in C. A. Braddock ~/D Section 6, Township 31, Range 39 East. and
-~h::::reas, there is some question about the leMallty of the assessment
against the new school property now being actually used for~urposes, and.
Whereas, negotiations have been pending between the City council of said
City, and Board of Public Instruction for Indian giver County, Florida, of
that certain property in said City of Sebastian, known as the old school
property, hereinbefore described, that said city of ~,ebastian do execute a
release and discharge in full of the assessme~'~ts hereinbefore levied against
the property, and that the ~ayor ~d City Clerk of said city be, and they are
authorized and empowered in t!~e name of and on behalf of said city to execute
such a release.
~r. ~cWilliams who was preset t offereed his assistance in any legislative

matters that we may have to be rought~the forthcoming legislature, who was
thanked by 5layer Badger, who also stated that we may have o.casion to call
upon him during the legislative session.
Mayor Badger addressed the meeting in regard to the deeding of a s~pof
land lleing between the north line of Indian giver County, and the south side
of the ~ebastian Inlet, the land belonging to Prevard CountL

~ome discussion followed, as to the feasibility and best means to go about
obtaining the strip of land through legislative action.
Mr. ~c~illiams suggested that we call a citizens meetir~g, and get in touch
with the county commissioners of both counties, and let the commissioners pass
on it before presenting a bill before the legislature.
.~otion to adjourn was made by Wields, seconded by BauEhman, meeting
adjourned.

Meeting was called to order, a~d minutes of oegular ~,geeting of Narch,
l~h, were read and approved.
~.r.A. Foster, who was present called the attention of the council
to some needed repairs on Louisana Avenue, and stated that the earlier it
was done the less expense it would be. The matter was referred to the
Street Committee, to see about costs of repairing. ~,~otion was made by
Vickers, seconded Oy BauglLman to empower the committee to aOout repairing
it at once, provided it would not cost over ~20.00, motion carri ed.
Councilman Glasgow brought to the attention of the Council in regard to
. o and family from the ~atch
the removal of thepresent occupants , Nr oimes
residence, and support was giVen by the council, who deemed it advisable
to have them removed at once, as undesirable renters,~ and for non-pay-
ment of rents due the City for the month of March.
Attention was brought ~o the council by Councilman Vickers in regard to
the fertilizing the grove in Edgewater Park, and met with support by ~he
council, and voted to empower Councilman Vice, ers to see about fertilizing
grove. Motion was made by Glasgow, seconded by Fields, motion carried.
Mr..~. B. Letchworth who was present, brought a question, before the
council, as to oil companies peddling gas and oil to consumers, and furnish-
ing ~anks for same, and selling gas to persons for private use.
.And question was brought up whether they should pay license '~o handle
same, and to persons in their employ, especially fish dealers supplj'.~ing
g.~$ to their boats.
Noaction was taken at this time, but was deferred until further investl-
gatlon'.. · .'.~
Clerk was instructed to write to the Ameriaan ~gricultural Chemical Co.
in re!.~ard to their delinquent taxes on property acquired by them from
w. C. Braddock.
