Dleeting was called to order by President Sembler.
Those present were Mayor Taylor,President Sembler and Councilman Benschop,Nash,
Chesser,Councilman Kutch absent.
Minutes of the laat regular meeting of February 13,1956 and special called
meeting of February 20,wets approved as read.
Bills amounting to.Five Hundred One aollars and Sixty Two cents~$501.62) was
approved by the Fin~nce Committee and authorized to be p~id on motion by Council
Nash and seconded by Councilman Benschop. Carried.
President Sembler introduced, complaint s from citiZens concerning ~location of
dog pound.It was agreed to .postpone construction of this pound until a later date.
The Clerk was instructed to call Buckingham Wheeler Agency about a disc&unt
on the insurance policy of the Ci~y dump truck.
Mr. George Sweatt gave the City Council information as to the cost of in-
stallation of the Park lights and agreed to lustall same.
Councilman Cheeser made a motion that Two more lights be installed in the
Cit~y park,seconded by Councilman Nash. Carried.
Councilman Chesser was requested to conta et Womans Club about the purchasing
of new ecuiptment for the shuffle~e_n~Seard court.
President Sembler reported Citizens complaint on conditions of Cemetery.
Councilman Nash reported that the Fire Dept.oldest truck is practlcall~ use-
less and the cost of a new one would be approximately Thirty Five Hundred
lars($3500.00~ Councilman Sembler recuested Councilman Nash to get fl~res as
to donationsreceived so as the Council could ~'~ct upon what the City can do to
to help purchase a new truck_. ~t~
The subject o~"a privately owned ~ater system~wa& introduced to th~ Council
by Mayor Taylor and the Council agreed to invite the sponsors of th~s project to
the next regular meeting April 9th.
~ayor Taylor read a letter f rom Bob Jen~ings the County health Dept. agent
stating his solut&on to the proper drainage o? certain ditches in Sebastian.
President Sembler recommended to the Council ~ increase in the Clerks
salary of Filthy dollars per month making a total salary of Two Hun~red dollars
($200.00) per month.A motion to that effect was made by Councilman Nas~$, seconded
by Councilman Benschop.Carrled.
The Clerk was instructed to contact Railroad Station Agent and have him clear
the crossingat Main Street.
The Council agreed that Mrs. Chesser should have a warranty deed for land
purchased from the City.
The Clerk was asked $o report to Councilman Kutc~ about a light being out
on North Central Ave.
Two building permit~ were presented to the Council and approved.
Councilman Nash made a motion that the Council adjourn,seconded by Council-
mah Benschpp. Carried.

Meeting was called to order by Pres. Sembler.
Those present were Mayor Taylor,Pres. Sembler,Councilmen Nash,Chesser, Ben-
sohop and Kutch.
Chief of Pollce,Russel F. Masker resignation was accepted by the Council by
the following vote.
Ayes: Councilman Chesser,Ku~ch,Nash and Benschop.
Nays: None.
~ motion was made by Councilman Chesser to adjourn,Seconded by Councilman
Benschop. Carried.
