ROLL CALL: Mrs. Cartwright - aye Mr. Paul - aye Mr. Taracka - aye Mrs. Sullivan - aye Mr. Barnes - aye MOTION CARRIED 5-0 presentation of Plaqlles to Mayor Waiter Barnes and Vice Mayor Richard Taracka by City Manager The City Manager presented plaques to Mayor Walter Barnes and Vice Mayor Richard Taracka. Ipv~titure of Newly Elated Officials by City Clerk The City Clerk swore in newly elected City Council Members Martha Wimnger and Chuck Neuberger, who then took their places at the dais. Mr. Barnes and Mr. Taracka left the dais at this time and the gavel was handed over to senior Councilmember, Mrs. Cartwright. l~le¢tion of Mayor Mrs. Cartwright welcomed the new Council members and called for nominations for Mayor. Mrs. Wininger nominated Mrs. Sullivan; and, there being no other nominations, Mrs. Sullivan was elected Mayor and handed the gavel. I~le~tion of Vice Mayor Mayor Sullivan called for nominations for Vice Mayor. Mr. Neuberger nominated Mrs. Wininger; and, there being no other nominations, Mrs. Wininger was elected Vice Mayor. 2 a~.Speeial City Council Meeting ~,I~ arch 16, 1998 Page Two Mayor Sullivan wished everyone a happy St. Patrick's Day and announced the St. Sebastian Church .7~Las Vegas night fundraiser, the Kroegel house fundraiser in Riverview Park sponsored by Jane Castle. She then called for a motion to adjourn. MOTION by Wininger/Cartwright I move to adjourn. VOICE VOTE on the motion carried 5-0. 5.
