Special meeting called ~arch 20,1947 to outlay plans for repairing streets and
secureing new City Hall.
Meeting called to order by PreSident Mlddleton.
Answering roll call were President Mlddleton,Councilmen, Bohannan,Smith s~d Sembler
Councilman Turlington arrlveing after roll call. Ail present.
After some discussion on new city hall, and repair o,f streets Oouncil~an Sohannon
moved for resolution to buy Old ~$ank ~ullding now owned by Mr Daniels for the sum
of Three Thousand Vollars. Motion was seconded by Councilman Smith.
Hesolution was adopted by the following vote. ~resldent Mlddleton YES. Councilman
Bohannon YES. Councilman Smith IES. Councilman Turlington YES. Councilman Sembler
YES. vote was unanimous.
Clerk was instructed to contact Mr Mitchell at once to negotiate the deal.
Street and alley Committee Councilman Turlington Chairman.
After discussing ways and means of repairing and patching the streets Councilman
Smith moved the City appropriate Five Hundred vollars to be used in patching
holes in City streets, ~otion was seconddd by Oouncilman ~ohannon. Carried.
Motion by Councilman Sembler, The Ohelf of Police be instructed to check all
business places in city of Sebastian for permits and licenses.Any one operateing
without them be instructed to secure them at City Hall. Mo~ion Carried.
City Clerk was instructed to correct all errors on tax sheets as to last property
appraisel.
There being no more business Council adjourned.
