The Clerk was instructed to %~ite theS~ate Board of Health in regard to 'the sceptic tanks on 'the McCain property. Chapter No. 50 ~kn 0~dinace providing that the territory within the corporate limits of the City of Sebastian, Florida, as now defined? a~d the City of Sebastian, Florida, shall be a bird sanctuary, and prohibiting the molesting, pursuing, disturbing, wounding, injuriSg or killing of all birds within the corporate limits of the City of Sebastian, Florida, e~cepting only buzzards, owls, butcher birds, and chicken ha~ks, and providing punishment for any violation of this ordinance. Councilman Vickers introduced the following Resolution; seconded by Councilman~ Hardee, RESOLUTION N0. 80 WhereaS, ~r. 0key Bland has presented-to the City Council a bill in the amount of $2Z~,$0 for work done for said City' in accordance, with a bid submitted to the C,,uncil on December Sgth, 1925 relative to the clearing of certain streets in Ocean Breeze Heights in said City: und 'Whereas, it appe,urs from tLe records of -the City Council that said 'bid sub~uitted to said City and that l~h~. Bland w~ks authorized to do the work covering said bid: and ~ereas, it further appears that ~. Bland did certain work thereunder 'but the Council is of the opinion that the work so done wc~s not in entire keepS.rig t~ v~ork so with said bid, but that ~r. Whereas, it appqar~s that in the assessment of taxes of the property of Hildebrant and ~eoat in the City of Sebas4i. an, for the years 1926~ 1927 and 1928 a clerical error was made whereby the amount of said taxes was computed as follows: ~-~ East of R R., Section 30, Hildebr:-~nt and ?esat part of Term of Waure~z~n, . Twp. 31, Range 38, f~272.00 when the s~mme should have been Therefore bo it resolved that the City Tax Collector be and she is hereby authorized and empowered to make the necessary corrections and refund to to the said Hildebrant and Pesat t~136.00, overchar2e on account of said clerical error. Those voting in favor of the above resolution were: Councilman ~rtin, Park and Hardee. Those voting against the above resolution were: None. The Resolution was thereupon declared adopted.
