MeetiSg was called to order by President Middleton.
Those answering roil call were Mayor Hoberts,~resident M~ddleton,Councilmen Sembler,Steven
son,Letchworth and Anderson.Mr mitchell City Attorney present.
Minutes of the previous meeting of March 15,1949 were read and approved.
Dills approved by the Finance ~ommittee were ordered paid on 'motion by Councilman
Semblervwhich was seconded by Oouncilman Anderson.
Mr Kroegle's application for building permit was held up until Mr Kro~gle can assure
the Council that said building would compare with other buildings, in the neighbbrheod
as to appearance,construction and architecture.
Mr Bodet was asked advice as to what trees to plant in place of the trees which have
been removed from the City tree lawns.Mr Bodet informed the Council that would bring
a landscape man to the next Council meeting that would be able to inform the Council
jus$ what trees would be suitable for that purpose as he was not able to do'himself.
The Florida Power and Light Co Engineers were present and prewented the City Council
with a light program for the additional street lights to be added to the present
lighting syet em.
The following lights were approved by the Council on motion by Councilman Letchworth
which was seconded by Councilman Anders&n.

It was moved by Councilman Sembler and seconded by Councilman Anderson to replace one
Ti~e and one tube on J.E.Redfern's at the cost of five dollars,for the one damaged
by City mower when being towed behinh Mr Hedfern's car.carried.
After discussing the dog pond question it was moved by Councilman Stevenson and
seconded by Councilman Anderson to build a dog pond large enough to hold two dogs,
where the dogs picked up by the City can be kept for the three days required by law.
Councilman Stevenson presented an Ordinance to the City ~Ouncilofor its adoption,

IN ANY PUBLIC PLACE IN THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN,~'LORiDA,0THER THAN THE PREM-
ISES OF A LICENSED VENDOR OF SUCH BEVERAGES CONTAINING ALCOHOL,Etc.
After some discussion it was moved by Councilman Stevenson that said Ordinance be
adopted,but not receiving aosecond for same,Ordinance was no~ passed.
A motion by Councilman Letchworth and seconded by Councilman Se~bler that the City
purchase six chairs for the Council Table,with the understanding Councilman
Letchwo~h would get the price of said chairs at Jacksonwille and report back at the
next meet lng.
