PRESENT: VICE MAYOR HARRIS COUNCILMAN SZELUGA COUNCILMAN ROTH COUNCILMAN VALLONE MAYOR GALLAGHER ATTORNEY PALMER MAYOR GALLAGHER ANNOUNCED THAT THE PURPOSE OF THE SPECIAL MEETING WAS TO GO THROUGH THE 37 APPLICATIONS RECEIVED FOR THE POSITION OF GOLF COURSE MANAGER AND SETTLE DOWN TO A COMFORTABLE NUMBER TO BE INTERVIEWED. MOTION BY COUNCILMAN SZELUGA, SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN ROTH, THAT WE LIMIT THE NUMBER OF APPLICANTS THAT THE COUNCIL WILL INTERVIEW FOR THE POSITION OF GOLF COURSE MANAGER TO FIVE. MOTION CARRIED. Ti~E MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL WENT T~IRO EL-MIN~TION SS AND CAME UP WITH A LIST OF NAMES FOR POSSIBLE INTERVIEW. ONE N~E[O~ -HI". LIST, LANKY GREGORY, WAS FELT TO BE MORE QUALIFIED FOR THE POSITION OF GOLF CQ~J~/SUP~I~RIN~_~E~DENTL MOTION BY COUNCILMAN SZELUGA, SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN ROTH, THAT MR. GREGORY NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW FOR GOLF COURSE MANAGER. ~ "] MOTION CARRIED. DOUGLAS FORD WAS ELIMINATED BECAUSE HE HAD NO EXPERIENCE IN THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS. MOTION BY COUNCILMAN SZELUGA, SECONDED BY LIv~A~ ROTH, THAT MR. FORD ALSO NOT BE CONSIDERED FOE AN INTERVIEW, BE INTERVIEWED BE )TF N:SI;¥, L AUL YOCUM.
