The minutes of the regular meeting of March 28 were read and approved.
The following resolution was offered by Councilman Park, seconded by Councilman
Hardee:
R~SOLUT ION NO.
Whereas, the City of Sebastian had on deposit in the Bank of Sebastian, at
the time of its closing the sum of $254.00 amd
Whereas, the Liquidator of said bank has now to assign to the City interest
received on him in full settlement of said deposit note, hereby liquidation in the
sum of ~1000.00 executed by John J. Lyons. Therefore be it resolved by the City
Council. l. of the City of Sebastian that said note be accepted in f~ll settlement of
said deposit and the liquidator released from further liability therein~
Roll call on above resolution, Ayes: Councilmen Hardee, Park and Hicks
Nays: None.
T. F. Shaffar who bought the Murdock property asked for a reduction on his
delinquent taxes. The Council made a thorough investigation and found his
property assessed according to the surrounding property'. The C]~erk was instructed
.to write Mr. Shaffar theft no reduction on his taxes could be made.
Councilman Hardee suggested that since all of lot 9 in Braddocks Subdivision
ha~ been included in the property which was being foreclosed for taxes that the
owner have the property surveyed with no expense whatsoever to the city and deed
to the city the riparian rights on the N~ of lot 9 for delinquent taxes on 'this lot.
Motion made ~ Councilman Park, seconded by Councilman Hardee that Council
