Meeting called to o~der by President Sweatt.
~zhose present were Mayor Shaffer,President Sweatt and councilmen Sembler,Ellingsen
Nash and Taylor. ~
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read.
Sills amounting to ,108.10 approved by the finance committee were authorized
to be paid on motion by councilman ~llingsen and seconded by Councilman Nash.~arried.
~uilding permit presented by Alger Engstrom was approved on motion by 0ouncilman
Sembler and seconded by Councilman $11ingsen.~arrled.
An agreement compiled by the ~ity Attorney between the City of Sebastian and
mime H.Kir~land was read by the clerk and was accepted on a motion by councilman waylor
which was seconded by Councilman Nash and ~arrled.
Mr Archie Smith and W.H.0wen representing the ~rustees of the ~hurch of Ged met
with the city Council and a~ked permission to erect a tent for revival services,said
permission was grahted on motion by Councilman Ellingsen and seconded by Councilman
Taylor.Said land for said services are lets 1 to 8 in Block 2 ef the Ocean Breeze
Subdivision.Mr Smith and Mr Owen also told the Council the Church of God would like te
squire this land to build a Church on.The Council said they would consult the City
Attorney as to legal rights ef the Council to dispose of said lots in as much as they
had been designated as a park in that subdivision.
There being no more business meeting was duly adjourned.

Meeting of March P~ minutes were approved as read~
~ills amounting to ~ 287.39 which having been approved by the finance committee
were authorized te be paid on motion by uouncilman Ellingsen and seconded by Oeuncilman
Taylor.carried.
A letter from the city Attorney stateing his findings as to whether the City
could er could not sell the lets i to 8 in Block 2 of the Ocean ~reeze Subdivision
te build a Church en as said land had been designated as a perk in said Subdivision.
After the reading of the letter by the Olerk,councilman Elllngsen moved that the City
have a resolution drawn up by the ~ity Attorney designating said land as a 0ity ~ark.
Said motion was seconded by ~ouncilman Sembler and the Clerk was instructed te turn
it over te the Attorney. ~arried.
The church was given a permit to erect a tent for services en Mr Archie Smith's
land fronting en South Central Ave to held their revival services.
0ouncilman Taylor reported a bad spot in the road where Palmetto and Cress street
meet and thought it aught to be fixed.This comung under the Street and Alley supervision
Oouncilman Sembler chairmen of that department said he would look into it.
The clerk was asked te write a letter to the S~perntendent of the State Head
department and report the sunken ~pet in the read in fron~ of Harry ~ehannon's
property on U.S.Hlghway 1.
The council dlscusse~ Mr Hedfern~s injury and the ~lerk was ~nstructed to take
care of said case with the ~nsurance ~ompany.
The Mayer and Council discussed the buying of gas for the'Police car and told the
0ouncil that OOhief Adams reported that the car did net function properly when different
gasolines were mixed. It was decided to try buying gas from each dealer eno month ~$rieds
and see if tha~ would help. ~
