MINUTES REGULAR COUNCIL APRIL 18, 1984 SINCE THE ORDINANCE, CONCERNING THE DURDEN/GARRETTO/FISCHER ANNEXATION HAD NOT BEEN PREPARED AND THERE BEING NO OBJECTIONS FROM THE COUNCIL, MAYOR STATED THAT THE ORDINANCE WOULD BE BROUGHT UP AT THE SECOND REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING IN MAY, 1984. THERE BEING NO OBJECTION FROM THE COUNCIL, MAYOR GALLAGHER RECOMMENDED THAT THE MATTER CONCERNING THE REQUEST TO RELOCATE THE TEMPORARY AMBULANCE BUILDING BEHIND CITY PROPERTY BE TABLED UNTIL THE SECOND M EETING IN MAY, 1984. MOTION BY COUNCILMAN FITZMAURICE, SECONDED BY VICE MAYOR MCKINLEY, THAT EXPENSE VOUCHER IN THE AMOUNT OF $6.00 BE PAID TO GEORGE SCHUM. MOTION CARRIED. MOTION BY VICE MAYOR MCKINLEY, SECONDED BY COUNCILWOMAN ADAMS, THAT THE EXPENSE VOUCHER IN THE AMOUNT OF $396.00 FOR ANNIE SIMMONS BE PAID. MOTION CARRIED. PRESENT: VICE MAYOR DOROTHY MCKINLEY COUNCILWOMAN BETSY ADAMS COUNCILMAN ROBERT FITZMAURICE COUNCILWOMAN LINDA KEENAN CITY ATTORNEY TOM PALMER MINUTES BID OPENING APRIL 18, 1984 MAYOR GALLAGHER STATED THAT NO BIDS HAD BEEN RECEIVED FOR THE POLICE VEHICLES TO DATE AND THAT THE CITY CLERK'S OFFICE HAS BEEN CONTACTING DEALERS HOLDING STATE CONTRACTS TO SEE WHAT TYPE OF EQUIPMENT THEY HAVE AVAILABLE WHICH WE MAY PURCHASE WITHOUT HAVING TO GO TO BID. HE STATED THAT THIS ACTION WILL BE PURSUED AND HE WILL REPORT BACK AT THE WORKSHOP MEETING SCHEDULED FOR MAY 2, 1984. BID OPENING CLOSED.
