Minutes of the last meeting of April 1Sth.were aproved as read.
Oouncilman Sembler introduced an Ordinance entitledj
AN O~UiNANOm AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE O~
$188,000 REFUNDING BONDS OF '~HE CiTY OF
SEBASTIANiiFLORIDA, FOR TKE PURPOSE OF
REFUNDING A LIKE AMOUNT OF VALID OUTSTANDING
BC~DS OF SAID CITY AND PROVIDING FOR THE
MANNER OF iSSUA~ CE AND PAYMENT THEREOF,
AND MOVED ITS ADOPTION.
Upon motion made by Councilman Sembler and seconded by councilman Letchworth and
unanimously carried,said Ordinance read the first time in full.
Uponmotion made by Councilman Sembler and seconded by councilman Letehworth and
unanimously carried,siad ordinance was read the second time b~ title only; there being
no amendments offered,upon motion by Councilman Sembler and secpnded by Cpuncilman
Le~ohworth said ordinance was read the thlr~ time by title only and placed upon its
final passage. The roll d~$ being called upon the final passage of said ordinance
the result was as follows.
Ayes: Councilmen,Sembler,Let chworth,Ellingsen and Anderson.
Nays: None. ff /
Thereupon said ordinance having received an affirmative vote of ~hree fifths of
all members of the Council was declared duly adopted and upon being presnted to the
Mayor and having received his approval was numbered as Chapter 122 of ~he 0rdinancew
of said City and was thereupon duly posted at the door of the City Hall of the
City of Sebastian in accordance with the provisions of Section 85 of Chapter
of the laws of Florida,being the chapter of said City.
Bills to the amount of $127.68 approved by the Finance Committee were ordered
paid by motion of Coinci'lman Sembler which was seconded by Councilam Ellingsen.
On a motion by Councilman Letchworth and seconded by 0ouncilman Ellingsen,Councllmmn
Sembler was giv&n authority to purchase ten loads of marl at cost of $~.?~ per load.
Motion by Councilman Letchworth and seconded by Councilman Sembler authority
was given to havre ditch on Mr Jenkins property cleaned out down to the lower
level of the til~ which enters property from under South 0entral Ave in order to
keep water from backing up on properties west of the Street.Mayor Middleton was asked
to to see that this was done.Oity to charge owner in case the City is compelled to do work.
.Motion by 0ouncilman Letchworth and seconded by Councilman Sembler that Mr
Mc Co~llough be given thirty days to clean and open the original ditch w~$ich was
closed by Mr Mc Cullough when he cut new ditch.City to charge owner in case the City
is compelled to do the work or have it done.
There being no more business meeging adjourned.

i~eeting Called By Mayor Mlddleton to discuss building permit for David E.Titus.
Motion by Councilman Park and seconded by Councilman Letchworth granted said
permit with only one change being made,that was restrictions on ~he side yard
were waived account of lot small for the required amount of land required for the
side yards .Carried ~
