Chairman Clerk ?egular meeting May 3, 1937. ~.~eetlng was called to order by President Pro-Tem with the following members present: Mayor Badger, Councilmen: Vickers, ~rdock, Brown. &try Vocelle. ~.~lnutJs of regular meeting of E~rll 5th were read and adopted. Councilman ~urdock introduced the following resolution and Moved its adoption: ~esolution / ~ ~ ?esolved, that for and in consideration of the ?ederal funds made available thr~ough the ~'~orks Trogress ~dminis~ratlon under official project ~0 348 for the improvement of our ~unicipal airport and landing facilities, we pledge that said airport will a~ all times be operated and maintained as a municipal airport for the public b~nefit, without unjust discrimination against or in favor of any aircraft operator, t~cludlng any scheduled airline o'oerator. Tt is further certified that the fee simple title to the land utilized as the municipal airpor~ is in ~o City of 9eba~tiun. Said resolution being duly seconded was passed upon roll call as follows: Ayes: Vickers, }~rdock, Brown. ~'ays: None. Councilman Brown made a motion that City pay H. G. Eitchell The following resolution was introduced by Councilman Brown who moved its adoption: ~hereas, 'the City of Sebastian, Florida, is the owner of lots 2 and 3, Subdiv~s~on, a subdlvis~on in said city according to the recorded plat of sa~d subdivision, and Whereas, Sebastian ~ercantile Company, a corBoration of ~he state of Florida, has offfered to purchase said property from said city at and for the sum Qf ~400.00. ~nd Whereas, the City Cmmcil of sai~ City believes said sum so offered ~or'said above described property represents a fair price for ~he sale of ~ame, and Whereas, it appears to the best interest of said city that said prpperty be sold at and for said sum, therefore Be i~ re~olved by the City Council of the City of Sebastian, Florida, that said above described property ~e sold to Sebastian Mercantile Company, ~ ~orporation, at and for the sum of $400.00, and that upon ~eceip~ o~ s2id ~u~.the. M2yo~ a~ City Clerk of said City be, and they are,nere~y au~nor~ze~ an~ree~e~', ~n na~e and on behalf of said city, to execute a special warranty deed to sa~d Sebastia~ Mercantile Company. a Florida corporation, for said above described property. The fore~ing was duly seconded and upon being put to a vote by roll call was adopted as follows: Ayes: Bau~hman, Vlckers, Brown. Nays None. Councilman Vickers made a motion that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized and directed to execute a euit claim deed to B. N. Brown for unused street right of way.~fronting his property on Louisiana Avem~e. Motion carried. Councilman Vickers made a motion to adjourn which was seconded by Councilman Brown. Carried. Clerk
