Meeting called to order at 8 P.M. , President Middleton in the chair.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
Councilman R.G Hardee took the floor and proposed that all unfinished business
oe cleared off the docket;sUch as, 1,Hendrick,Charles, dellnquencyin taxes
on city property,aLso insurance,and interest. 2. ~lamingo ?ruck Co.
Charged with blocking First St. Also complaint because both sides of the
street, were blocked to traffic by parked cars. It was questioned whether ~
said company Was paying taxes. Mr. Letchworth,a visitor, stated that busi-
ness at present was too small towarrant paying taxes. This also applieSL.tO
Standard and Texaco companies. If taxed, the town would be cut off their list.

Mitchell for further attention. On a second by Councilman Smith the motion
was carri~d unanimously.
The ma~ter of selecting, lots for two women purchasers t~bled until such a
as Mr. Baynard should attend a meeting.
The clerk reported the following financial status:-

~uestion of paying rent for City Hall from Bec.lst. 194~.to May 1,1945
was held up until such a time when Mr. Hamrick should make his promised
repairs on the building.
Councilman R. G. Hardee withdrew his resignation as of April 3, 1945.
Mayor E. W. ?ickers suggested the clerk write to the AirPort Com. re-
questing a release of city property now being held as an Air Port,in-
order that said property,120 A.,might be put on the market for private use.
Mayor E. W. Vickers asked the City of Sebastian to donate two lots located
in School Park for use of the Methodist Church. No action taken. Meeting
adjourned at 11:30.
