All we could do at this time was wait for the arrival of the fire department. While waiting for the fire department to arrive, I questioned the witness, Feasel, who was on the Icene when I arrived. Feasel reported that he was onhis way to work when he noticed the smoke I g from the office building. Feasel then went to a telephone booth at Barber St. and County Load 512 and called the fire department. The fire departsrent arrived and extinguished the fire. III then assisted Lt. Pushcer and Det. Disomma with the investigation. Once inside the building, ILt. Pushcer and myself observed_a one gallon see-thru plastic jug(milk jug type) laying on the floor in the south-east(back) room of the office building. This jug contained a liquid sub- stance which looked like and smelt like gasoline. The jug was laying on it's side with no lid and the opening(neck) was facing south. While walking through the hall way where the fire was burning and into the rear office, a strong odor of gasoline was present. I also observed an area in the western most room of the office building, where there was a burn pattern on the floor rug in a zig zag pattern and a cluster of paper laying on the far west edge of the burn pattern that had been chared/burned from ignition. I then assisted Lt. Puscher with taking photgraphs of tine prints that had been located by Chief Nappi. The tire prints were on the (south eastern most portion the property.
