Nartin , Pres. Pro te~ ~. B. Hicks L. O. Baughman Attorney James T. Vocelle Mayor Badger, Councilmen Hardee, Park and Clerk Lenora K. Park were absent. CHAPTER NO. 71 AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERATION OF AUTOMOBILES, MOTORCYCLES, BICYCLES AND OTHER VEHICLES AND REGUI~TING THE DRIViNG, PARKING, AND LOADING LI~IIT OF MOTOR VEHICLES IN THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA AND PRESCRIBING PENALATIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE. Was read for the first time in full. Counci~s~an Hicks moved that Ordinance be read the second time by title only; which was seconded by Councilman Baughman and carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Hicks, Baughman and Martin. Nays: None. Councilman Hicks moved that Ordinance be read the third time by title only; and put upon its passage; which was seconded by Councilman Baugh~nan and carried by the following vote. Ayes: Councilmen Hicks, Baughn~n and Martin. Nay s: None. Roll Call on Ordinance Ayes: Councilmen Hicks, Baughman and Martin. Nay s: N one. The Council discussed the angle of parking o~'~. ~in Street, Councilmen Hicks suggested 45 degrees, Martin preferred 60 degs and Baughman 45 degs. H. E. Ashburner reported having a proposition from Lyle Hanshaw of Roseland of $25.00 to paint street paving signs and repaint board signs as discussed at last meeting. Mr. Vocelle thought the Vero Beach City Engineer would let the City use the templet for parking angle painting. Also tkought we coald get data on stop letters. It was decided not to paint the street paving stops and angles until after the resurfacing of the streets. KOTION: made by CounciLman Hicks, seconded by CouncilEan Bau~nnan that Council ad j ourn. Motion carried.
