HomeMy WebLinkAbout06091976PUBLIC HEARING - JUNE 9, 1976 THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CALLED FOR THE PURPOSE OF BRINGING TO THE PUBLIC'S ATTENTION TWO PROPOSED ORDINANCES. MRS. PHELAN, CITY CLERK, READ THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE ON "VACATING OF EASEMENTS." A REQUEST WAS MADE BY THREE REPRESENTATIVES OF UTILITYCOMPANIES, i.e., INDIAN RIVER CABLEVISION, SOUTHERN BELL T&T, AND FLORIDA POWER & LIGHT COMPANY~ TO HAVE THEM NOTIFIED WHEN REQUESTS ARE RECEIVED. AN ADDITION TO THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE WILL INCLUDE NOTIFICATION BE SENT TO THE UTILITY COMPANIES BY CERTIFIED MAIL AND THEY BE GIVEN 15 DAYS TO REPLY. MRS. PHELAN, CITY CLERK, READ THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE "ESTABLISHING A CEMETERY TRUST FUND." THERE BEING NO FURTHER QUESTIONS FROM THE COUNCIL OR MEMBERS OF THE AUDIENCE, THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS DECLARED OVER AT 7:55 P.M.
