Meeting called to order by President Zimmer at 7:00 P.M.
Those present: Mayor Boone, Councilmen Yates,Johnson, Thomas, Bruce and Zimmer.
Minutes of the RegUlar May Meeting were read and approved.
Motion by Councilman Johnson to pay bil~.s in the amount of ~1,692.63. Seconded
by Councilman Ystes. Carried.
Fifteen Minutes for Public.
Committee reports were given.
Communications were read.
Motion by Councilman Bruce that bond on Unit #!, in amount of ~].25,000.00 be
re]ea, sed, subject to final approval of City ~h~gineer. Seconded by Councilman
Y~tes. Carried.
Motion by Councilman Jolzuson that bid of ~ 3,257.50 submitted by Dickerson
Construction Company of 9tuart, be accepted for work on North ~entral Avenue.
Seconded by Co~zuci].man Thomas. Carried.
Motion by Councilman Johnson that action on sale of City property to Greene's
Gas Company be tabU.ed until July meeting_. SeConded by Councilman Druce. Carried.
Motion by Covu~ci!man Yates authorizing transfer of ~)6,000.00 from Capital Improve-
ments Fund to Gener. al Fund. Seconded by Councilman Thomas. Carried.
Motion by Councilman Thomas that ~150.00 Civil Defense Funds be re~eased to
Director. Seconded by Councilman Bruce. Carried.
Motion by Council_man Yates thot app.licr.~tion of Archie Smith to deepen channel
to his boathouse be approved. Seconded by Councilman Jo}znson. Carried.
Motion by Councilman Yates thf-~t permission be granted to U. S. Army 7trike
Command to use airport property on a continuing basis, Mayor and City C_~..erk
to sign ~.esse. Seconded by Councilman Thomas. Carried.
Upon recommendation of Mayor Boone, Com~ci]man Yates moved that pay of
Officer PI. cod be increased !!~10.00 per month, effective June !7, 1967.
