THE DEPUTY CITY CLERK READ IN ITS ENTIRETY THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE
POSITION OF FINANCE DIRECTOR, FOR THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN.
MAYOR GALLAGHER INFORMED THE COUNCIL THAT APPLICANTS, JAMES LEITZELL AND
GARY GDOIN, CANCELLED THEI~ER--~-IE~--~O~NTS.

POSITION OF CITY FINANCE DIRECTOR.
MOTION BY VICE MAYOR MCKINLEY, SECONDED BY COUNCILWOMAN KEENAN, TO CLOSE
NOMINATIONS.
MOTION CARRIED.
BY A ROLL CALL VOTE, COUNCIL MEMBERS INDICATED THEIR PREFERENCE AS TO WHO
THEY WOULD LIKE TO APPOINT TO THE FINANCE DIRECTOR POSITION.

CAROL CARSWELL IS APPOINTED AS PERMANENT CITY FINANCE DIRECTOR.
MOTION BY COUNCILWOMAN KEENAN, SECONDED BY VICE MAYOR MCKINLEY, THAT THE
CITY COUNCIL HAVE A UNANIMOUS VOTE TO SUPPORT CAROL CARSWELL FOR FINANCE
DIRECTOR.
