I propose to resurface streets in City of Sebastian as directed 'by' the City Council as follows: Using .015 to .30 gallons of asphalt p~r square yard accordin?< to needs. Usinc 15 to 25 pounds of clean local sand per s0uar~:~ yard for cove~inf-: material .~ccord~n?: so needs of street. . Day and explained to him that tbs contract would include only tho old streets, and he estim~ted that by using!: approximately one for-th gallon per squar~ yard, it v/ould not exceed a 6000 gallon t~nk car. ~is he was .u~horkzeo. o order and if any in ~oxcess it coulu b.':~ used elserh.oPo. The Council was to advise the Day Company as soon as 'the County had completed its work on the old streets, so the company' v;"ould not bt) delayed after star'ting on the resurfacin~?~. N~; Bland appeared before the Council in. reference bo the Davis 'tract of land lying in lots 4 and 5 of tho Au{cust Park S/D he asked 'th:~t tax sale c~sr'tificates be cancelled on his piece of property and that he be allow,ad 'to pay th~-s pro rata part of' the total assess~uont for the years 1927 and. 1928. He also disuussed 'the inclusion of a small tract of land in Ocean Breeze Hcichts in the parings; assessment where no paving has been m~',de. The ~ttorney was instructed to prepare a Resolution to have tax sale certificates cancelled. The Clerk w-'_-~s instructed to pro ra~e the Davis property assessment so the part recently purchased by ~r. Bland will be assessed a,lainst him and 'the balance to ~. Davis; also-to include th,.} small ir:set of land in Ocean B?eeze Hei~hts in a partial release of '~i'm lien and record same. A list of tho Street and Sidew:~lk bonds bought from the Y. B. McCr:~ry Company was submitted to the Council by the Co~,'m~.~ittee, appointed for that purpose also with the statement that all had b~:~en cancelled as par instruction and Councilman Vickers moved that a list of tho cancelled bonds as submitted be spread upon the minutes seconded hz;~ Councilman Hardee and carried. td0TTON: made 'by Councilman Hicks, seconded by Councilman Vickers, that Council adjourn.
